Caged…

Never thought of going to prison,
But it seems like it's the season,
To cage myself in my thought,
And to watch what my life has brought.
The good, the bad and the worst,
Creeping in my mind to be the first,
Even thoughts are competing against each other,
As they are too proud to follow another.
Why does this competition never cease?
Everyone wants to be the best at their ease.
One after another, they just come and go,
Leaving their trails, so deep and thorough,
Scribbling their signatures in my mind,
Making sure that there is no escape to outside.
