Candle In My Heart

As wind batters my body,
Rain drenches my soul,
And night comes faster than ever before,
I sit here with a lighted candle in my heart,
Hoping that you will come back,
From wherever you are,
Even though you are nowhere to be found.

Beyond Love

I have seen you in my dreams,
Way before I saw you first,
And the moment you appeared in my life,
I carved you in my heart,
Even though it took several years for me to complete that puzzle,
I know you are the one that I have been waiting for,
You are beyond love.

Last Breath

All these years, I didn’t show you
The love that I have for you
All these years, I didn’t tell you
That all I want is you,
But when I hear about all the chaos happening everywhere,
All I want is to take my last breath in your hands, and I’m not going anywhere.

Dreams

Nights always come with hope,
Hope to see you again,
As I can reach you through my dreams,
Dreams that take me closer to you.

Reminder

What can I do when all the seasons remind me of you?
When each and every moment feels like a lifetime without you,
When wind whispers your name in my ears,
When the moon reminds me of your face,
What can I do when all the seasons remind me of you?

Peace

While I walk alone with hopeful heart and teary eyes,
I find my peace in the belief that we are under the same sky,
And you gaze at the same moon as I.

Longing

It’s raining outside and it is raining inside,
But there is hope for rainbow, right?
It’s dark outside, and it is dark inside,
But the sun will rise tomorrow, right?
So, unveil those clouds,
And show me your face, my sunshine.

Entwined

A single touch of yours was enough for me to bloom,
To understand the true meaning of love,
And no matter how far you are from me now,
You will always be in my heart,
Because our souls are entwined.

Home

I dream about a place where the sky is blue,
Where there are hills and valleys,
Where shepherds herd their sheep without a fear of wolves,
Where we hold each others hands,
Where we can create a small world,
A place full of love and no hatred around us at all.

Flight

It is hard when we are caught up in the storm,
A wind so powerful that can break us down,
Each drop of rain feels like a pelt with stones,
But as long as I have hope in our love,
I will keep my spirits high,
And I will fly through the eye of the storm.

Talisman

When the cold winds blow, snow falls, and my body can only freeze,
When the torrential rains flood my life giving me uncertainty,
When the dark nights creep into my mind with no moon in sight,
I hold onto my heart,
Because it has your love, my talisman, my sunshine

Fire and Water

There is fire, as all of us know,
Comes from unknown and then puts up a show,
Hot by nature, providing us light,
It saves us from the cold dark night.
So beautiful to see that it attracts the fireflies,
Gives them the complete  happiness before it ignites,
All the hopes deeply buried in them,
And then destroys them into ashes, what a gem!

There is water which is nothing like fire,
Gives selflessly and will never retire,
Flowing calmly, it bends and bows, 
Acknowledges all the obstructions, before it overflows.
Changing its form when required,
Its flexibility is always admired,
Taking it for granted, don't you dare,
Only a fool will underestimate it's power, beware!

There is a mystical place where fire and water live together,
Where they don't mind being with each other,
Fire burns in its heart but water is its soul,
Like a werewolf who is hurt with a silver knife, they make it growl, 
Then, they decide to unite in a peculiar way,
To come out as tears while it tries to smile all the pain away.

A Moment

A moment of perfection,
It was when I saw you giving instruction,
To someone who was in need,
I thought you did a good deed.
A moment of love and affection,
In those eyes I saw a beautiful connection,
Where I could see my whole life,
I knew that soul from other life.
A moment of euphoric sensation,
When you took the chance to ask me a question,
It felt like I was floating in the space,
And then I fell flat on my face.

Rain

Heaven has opened its door,
Bringing tranquility to our soul,
Soothing the Earth's burned skin,
Making the thirsty birds to sing.
Trees are whispering their joy in my ears,
Swaying their body like dancers,
Sky have their own drum beats to show off,
And I'm wondered by the lights they are bringing out.
As I sit inside my house watching the downpour,
Every drop is a grace that I was hoping for.

Whys???

I wake up every morning,
Promising myself that I won't be moaning,
But when all the whys come alive,
All I want is to take a deep dive.
Why we were born in different times?
Why did I meet you in a wrong place and time?
Why I was able to see right into you?
Why my fate is playing games separating me from you?
As it aches every inch of my heart,
Knowing that it is owned by you,
And it is still longing to see you,
When I know it's not good for me or you.

Rest In Peace!

She can see herself on the ground,
Cold and stiff with no earthly bound,
Free from all the life's strife,
And all the words of the world acting like a knife.
People came to pay her last respect,
Standing in between them she did expect,
A little love that she always longed for,
Was that too much to ask for?  



She could hear that they were saying prayers,
Judging about her destination in their heart with fake tears,
As she could now understand them inside out,
Stop! That's all she wanted to shout.
Instead she looked once more on the body and smiled, 
Then walked away leaving everything behind.

Immersion

I found myself in a lovely place,
Where a gentle breeze touched my face,
Where the mountains stood with their heads high,
And where the birds flew freely in the sky.
The river was so pure that it mirrored my face,
The grasses were so soft which reminded me to offer my prayers,
Where the sun enjoyed playing hide and seek with the clouds,
And the trees danced slowly in the wind singing their songs aloud.
Then I saw a familiar face which I love  dearly,
Those eyes were speaking to me and all I wanted was a hug so tightly,
That we could breath out all our air to the atmosphere,
And release our spirits into that place that we really care.

We were in love when the fate decided to separate us,
Holding on end of the rope from top of the mountain,
You told me that you would never let me go,
But, when I decided to let go of myself from your life,
I just was making sure you to be safe and happy even without me in it,
But, I promised that I will be waiting for you in the next.
While falling I asked you to run as soldiers were marching towards you,
I saw you were dragged out of my sight as I was slowly closing my eyes.



I have been waiting one life after another as I promised,
Searching for you, I knew that I will recognize you,
As our souls knew each other long before that these generations could even think,
When we finally met, you had no memory of the past,
You thought that it was just another thing and could make some time pass,
May be I will have to wait hundreds of years to see the whole you again,
When you will remember the end of the rope and the hope in my eyes,
Or may be you will just listen to your soul this time.
