There is fire, as all of us know, Comes from unknown and then puts up a show, Hot by nature, providing uslight, It saves us from the cold dark night. So beautiful to see that it attracts the fireflies, Gives them the completehappinessbefore it ignites, All the hopes deeply buried in them, And then destroys them into ashes, what a gem!
There is water which is nothing like fire, Gives selflessly and will never retire, Flowing calmly, it bends and bows, Acknowledges all the obstructions, before it overflows. Changing its form when required, Its flexibility is always admired, Taking it for granted, don't you dare, Only a fool will underestimate it's power, beware!
There is a mystical place where fire and water live together, Where they don't mind being with each other, Fire burns in its heart but water is itssoul, Like a werewolf who is hurt with a silver knife, they makeitgrowl, Then, they decide to unite in a peculiar way, To come out as tears while it tries to smile all thepainaway. -JMJ
In your eyes, I saw my life, Blossoming like a fragrant flower, With all its beauty and elegance, Like a queen with all her grace. In your eyes, I saw that flame, Which burnt my eyes to find a way to the heart, The light which brightened my soul, The fire which engulfed me whole. In your eyes, I saw lyrics of a beautiful song, Bringing rain to a deserted heart, A melody, so divine soothing my body and mind, The music which unknotted emotions of all kind. In your eyes, I saw myself, With well guarded walls, protecting myself from another hurt, Scarred and bruised from old deep wounds, Standing tall with my perfectimperfections. -JMJ
You will be that pain in my heart that never gets old, As your lies were taking chances one by one to unfold, A scar in my heart that will always be new, While you are partying with someone I knew. Time heals everything they say, Hoping that it won't be a lifetime and that's what I pray, How could one can understandanother's soul so deeply, Yet can't see their betrayals and be blind completely? -JMJ
I wrote this poem while I was watching Grace and Frankie. It was actually Frankie who inspired me as she loved Sol and knew each and every minute details about him but didn’t realize that he was cheating on her for about two decades. Irony is that they were like soulmates.
