Hope & Strenth..

“Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there’s no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.”

Laini Taylor

“Make up your mind that no matter what comes your way, no matter how difficult, no matter how unfair, you will do more than simply survive. You will thrive in spite of it.”

Joel Osteen

“There is a saying in Tibetan, ‘Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that’s our real disaster.”

Dalai Lama XIV

“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”

Nelson Mandela

The mankind has survived through the toughest of battles sometimes with nothing but hope, courage and determination. And it’s that qualities we need, when we find ourselves in a deep hole filled with darkness – to keep us going, to find the light and to thrive.

When all you can see is, beauty around you….

Make magic out of each moment…

It’s never about where you grow, it’s about how you grow…

Even if it’s a storm outside, always carry a sunshine in your heart..

Beauty in white…

Beautiful and humble…

Open your eyes…

This daffodil likes to photobomb…

Looks like it’s raining yellow..

Nature’s own bouquet..

It doesn’t matter how small you are when you decide to shine, you shine…

When hope spreads from one to another….

“When in doubt, wear purple.” – Unknown

Keeping Hope Alive…

When life pulls you down again and again, get back up, put on your shoes and go outside. Keep your eyes open and observe. It is where the nature teaches you how to be strong and positive against all the adversities; not just to survive but to thrive.

Flowers grow out of dark moments.

Corita Kent

I want to stay a while, wrapped in silence, the way the trees and rocks and the ground beneath my feet are wrapped in moss and ivy and soft, green lichen.

 Cathy Cassidy

Deep sleeps the winter, cold, wet, and grey; surely all the world is dead; spring is far away.  Wait! the world shall waken; it is not dead, for lo, the Fair Maids of February stand in the snow!

Cicely Mary Barker

Does the robin sing because the cold of winter is leaving or the warmth of spring is coming? Or might he be singing because each without the other would lessen both?

Craig D. Lounsbrough

Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it or work around it.

Michael Jordan

Under The Moonlight

Yesterday, while walking back from work I was able to capture this beautiful sight on my phone. What a sight!

The light of the Moon reminds us that when we share the light of others, we shine in our own unique way.

Suzy Davies

There was something about the moon. The way it reminded me of the hope I sometimes clung to. A sliver of light in all that darkness.

Michelle Chamberland

Perhaps everything can be solved by a walk in moonlight.

Marty Rubin

I slept under the moonlight and set my soul free, caged within jars like fireflies.

Clouds….

“If you use your imagination, you can see lots of things in the cloud formations.”

Charles M. Schulz

Clouds have always been an attraction to my eyes. As a child, I used to look up the sky and tried to identify the shapes that the clouds form. To be honest, I still do it. You may think it’s silly but I can’t help it . Sheep, cows, fish, Jesus and fairies are just few examples that I have found. All the above images are taken on my phone on different days and times. Oh yes! I love to collect those pictures too.

Hope you will enjoy the pics and the cloud idioms, quotes and phrases.

Every dark cloud has a silver lining….
Under a cloud ….
On cloud nine….
In the clouds….
Head in the clouds….
Gathering clouds….
“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.”
― Maya Angelou

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”

Rabindranath Tagore

“Clouds in the sky very much resembles the thoughts in our minds! Both changes perpetually from one second to another!”

Mehmet Murat ildan

“The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn’t it be?- it is the same the angels breathe.”

Mark Twain

“Don’t forget: beautiful sunsets need cloudy skies.”

Paulo Coelho

Leadership Is A State Of Mind

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

John Quincy Adams

In this modern world, where everyone is competing against each other for a promotion, most of us think that leadership is about a position. A position, where you can control and manage others to make them to do their jobs.

There are people among us who would take extreme measures to make sure that other people obey and respect them as leaders. This includes blame game, being rude towards subordinates, taking credits for another person’s work and initiating or supporting gossiping. None of these bad traits are the qualities of a good leader. Your position as a leader may look good in your resume, but in real life you will not be respected.

“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not a bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.”

Jim Rohn

Leadership is a state of mind. It’s an attitude to inspire and motivate others with or without having a top administrative or management position. A good leader lead by an example.

The qualities of a good leader are:

– Integrity

Trustworthiness

Humility

Non judgemental

Transparency

Honesty

Empathy

Confidence

Good communication skills

Good listening skill

Having a vision

Commitment

– Approachability

Adaptability

Knowledge of the subject

I believe that a leader should be confident and strong to take tough decisions but also should be empathetic and approachable. A good leader should never be judgemental about anyone and should always avoid gossips and partiality.

I also believe that juniors, subordinates or followers consider one person as their leader if they can relate that person to themselves. So, a good leader should be able to inspire and motivate others. They should set an example by practicing what they are preaching.

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”

John C. Maxwell

“The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.”

Colin Powell

“The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority.”

Kenneth Blanchard

So, are you a leader by position or a leader by attitude?

Myriad Hues Of Nature

Yesterday, while walking back from work at around 20:30pm at night, I saw this beautiful sunset. Nature always helps me to relax and I hope that you will enjoy this picture too.

Walking through darkness with thoughts full of colors.

Prajakta Mhadnak

If you’re to choose to paint your life today… What will it be? Remember, you’re the artist, not the canvas.

Val Uchendu

Colors are the smiles of nature.

Leigh Hunt

Sunrise paints the sky with pinks and the sunset with peaches. Cool to warm. So is the progression from childhood to old age.

Vera Nazarian

Let me, O let me bathe my soul in colours; let me swallow the sunset and drink the rainbow.

Khalil Gibran
